HONOLULU (AP) _ A second Kaneohe Marine was killed this week while conducting combat operations in Iraq. The Defense Department says Lance Corporal James Chamroeun of Georgia died yesterday of wounds received in Al Anbar province.
Another son of Micronesia has died in Iraq, marking the 13th casualty for the region since the war in Iraq began in 2003. The Federated States of Micronesia and its Pacific island neighbors are mourning the death of Army Pfc. Henry Paul, 24, of Kolonia, which is in the state of Pohnpei.
FORT HOOD, Texas The Defense Department says two soldiers from Fort Hood died after their military vehicle rolled over in Iraq.

(September 29, 2006)—Fort Hood Staff Sgt. Edward C. Reynolds, Jr., 27, of Groves and Pfc. Henry Paul, 24, of Kolonia Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia died Tuesday in Iraq, the military said Friday.
All Manila-bound flights of Continental Micronesia from Guam and Saipan were cancelled yesterday due to typhoon Xangsane in that country. The typhoon, with a Filipino name Milenyo, has wreaked havoc across the main Philippine island of Luzon, primarily the Bicol area, which is south of Metro Manila.
Continental Micronesia expects to resume scheduled service to and from the Philippines today after flights were canceled yesterday. Typhoon Xangsane, which battered the northern and central Philippines, prompted Continental to cancel flights CO933 and CO895 from Guam to Manila yesterday evening.
